Illustration Portfolio

Welcome to the Shaw-Morton Illustration Portfolio.

I have an established style which lends itself well to book illustration, and in particular childrens books and the classics. I have a particular interest in the novels of Charles Dickens and Mervyn Peake. My creation process involves traditional techniques with digital enhancements. This means that after creation of the inital drawing, all illustrations can be completely customised, and can be modified right up to press, a technique that is not readily available through more traditional 'wet' methods of illustration.

I am available for commission work from book illustration, through to packaging, point of sale and logo design.

My skill set includes an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS3, a god knowledge of Illustrator CS3, as well as a range of more traditional working practices.
